VILLAINS clothing was launched online in 2006 in Milton, Ontario when Jay Sakuta saw clothing as an opportunity to be creative on many levels. With his diversity in influences Jay launched Villains as a local brand within the underground skateboard, snowboard, fixed gear cultures and has been dedicated to its fan base in each growing community. In 2008 Jay met his counterpart, Becky Farronato; Villains took yet another step forward and entered into the wholesale retail world. Inspired by their appreciation for exclusivity in the fashion industry Villains is sold in limited quantities on a monthly basis launching limited graphic T-shirts, accessories, and track bike merchandise online and in stores.
Over the last year V&CO has collaborated with several recognized brands such as Nitro, Raiden, and L1 snowboards, promoting a VILLAINS snow event, BRO-sesh. Bro-sesh generated 80-100 talented individuals with friendly trick competitions every Wednesday night provided weather permitted. Filming our weekly events Moustache Media has all the fun documented in numbered volume mini edits.
